Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies is seeking a talented Quantitative Developer to design and build cloud-native Python applications, data pipelines and analytics that support research and trading workflows across global markets.

You will collaborate with Researchers, Traders and Cloud Engineers to deliver production-quality solutions, backtesting frameworks, ETL pipelines and data visualisation tools, while maintaining scalable infrastructures and rigorous software practices.

Qualifications

Three years of professional Python development experience.
Strong knowledge of Python and data libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Polars, Xarray).
Experience with AWS or another cloud platform.
Experience developing ETL pipelines and working with large datasets.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with researchers and traders.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy and maintain cloud-native Python applications supporting research and trading workflows.
Develop quantitative tools including backtesting frameworks, optimisation tools, pricing libraries and ETL pipelines.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for model development and production workflows.
Monitor, support, debug and enhance existing research and trading infrastructure.
Collaborate with Researchers, Traders and Engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
Provide support for traders and production trading systems across global markets.
