Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies in Aarhus seeks a hands-on Python developer to design, build and maintain cloud-native applications and data pipelines supporting research and trading workflows.

You will work closely with Researchers, Traders and Cloud Engineering to deliver production-grade solutions, leverage NumPy/Pandas/Polars/Xarray, and contribute to ETL and visualization tools such as Plotly, Dash or Streamlit.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python with libraries NumPy, Pandas, Polars and Xarray.
• Interest or experience in building data visualization apps (Plotly, Dash or Streamlit) is a plus.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and infrastructure as code is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain cloud-native Python applications supporting research and trading workflows.
• Develop quantitative tools including backtesting frameworks, optimisation tools, pricing libraries and ETL pipelines.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines that support model development and production workflows.
• Monitor, support, debug and enhance existing research and trading infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Researchers, Traders and Engineering teams to deliver production quality solutions.
