Job summary

TransaLink is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer for a contract position in Herning, Denmark. You will oversee design, construction, and maintenance of civil projects to deliver functional and sustainable infrastructure.

Responsibilities include surveys, data analysis, cost estimating, planning, and collaboration with architects and contractors to meet project goals. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and excellent PM skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant laws regulations codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and investigations to gather data for designing and constructing projects.
• Prepare detailed project plans including cost estimates timelines and material requirements.
• Collaborate with architects contractors and other professionals to ensure project goals are met.
• Monitor progress of construction projects to ensure they comply with design specifications and safety standards.
• Review and approve project designs drawings and specifications.
• Analyze survey reports maps blueprints and other data to plan projects.
• Identify potential risks or problems and provide solutions to mitigate them.
• Manage project budgets and make adjustments as needed.
