You will lead a diverse team, ensure safety compliance, read blueprints, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors while reporting progress to clients and stakeholders. Fluency in English is essential; Danish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing construction projects.
• Fluency in English; Danish language skills preferred.

Job description

A construction manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of a construction project from planning and budgeting to execution and completion They work closely with architects engineers contractors and other professionals to ensure that the project is completed on time within budget and meets quality standards The ideal candidate for this role should have strong leadership skills excellent organizational abilities and extensive knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• - Plan and schedule construction projects taking into account budget constraints and timelines
• - Coordinate with architects engineers contractors and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met
• - Oversee the procurement of materials equipment and services needed for the project
• - Monitor progress of construction work and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines
• - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures on the construction site
• - Manage a team of workers including hiring training and performance evaluations
• - Communicate regularly with stakeholders including clients vendors and government officials
• - Prepare progress reports for clients detailing project status and any issues or delays
• - Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and address any problems that may arise

Requirements

• - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field Masters degree preferred
• - Minimum of 5 years experience in managing construction projects
• - Strong knowledge of building codes safety regulations and construction processes
• - Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
• - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• - Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• - Proficient in project management software
• - Fluency in English Danish language skills preferred

This is a contract position based in Copenhagen with a salary of 1300$ Accommodation will not be provided but the company will cover visa fees and provide airfare
