Job summary

Hybrid Greentech is seeking a Chief of Staff to be the CEO's closest strategic partner and the connective tissue translating strategy into daily execution across a scaling energy-tech platform.

You will bridge strategy with operational leadership, help design processes, and enable the leadership team to focus on priorities as the company scales its software and platform business across Europe.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years' experience from strategy consulting, hypergrowth, VC, investment banking, or another high‑performance environment.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, reliable approach to problem‑solving.
• Solid project management and stakeholder management experience.
• Clear, accurate written and verbal communication, with the ability to draft documents and prepare presentations to a high standard under tight timelines.
• Experience working closely with investors, board members and other senior stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Danish.

Job description

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to be the CEO's closest strategic partner and the connective tissue that turns Hybrid Greentech's strategy into daily execution.

Why this role matters

As Hybrid Greentech moves from its early-stage roots into a scaled software and platform business, this role exists to build the leadership structure to match. You will be the connective tissue between the CEO's strategic agenda and the organisation's daily execution, translating priorities into structure and making sure decisions made in the room actually happen outside it.

The role

The Chief of Staff is a close sparring partner to the CEO, working hand-in-hand with operational leadership to keep the organisation's engine running. As Hybrid Greentech scales, this person will support our CEO in systematising his thinking into structure and priorities aligned with the strategy plan developed with Nordic Alpha Partners (NAP), while moving fluidly between the CEO's strategic agenda and the operational agenda of a COO function being built out in parallel.

This is an individual contributor role sitting at the intersection of strategy and execution: translating decisions into action, catching what falls through the cracks between functions, and giving our CEO and the leadership team the bandwidth to focus on what matters most. The remit is the connective tissue between departments; the work that turns strategy into execution across the organisation.

What you will do

Strategic partnership to the CEO

• Act as thought partner on strategic priorities, board matters, and cross-functional decisions.
• Prepare and sharpen materials for board meetings, investor updates, and leadership offsites.
• Track follow-through on strategic commitments, and represent our CEO’s priorities in rooms he can't be in.

Operational bridge across the leadership team

• Translate strategic intent into execution plans in close partnership with operational leadership.
• Own cross-functional initiatives that don't have a natural home, from kick-off to delivery.
• Identify operational bottlenecks before they become fires, and build the company's operating rhythm (meeting cadence, OKR tracking, follow-up discipline).

Organisational scaling

• Help design the processes, structures, and decision rights Hybrid Greentech needs as it grows past its current stage.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and org design conversations at the leadership level.
• Act as a connector across Trading, Asset Integration, ESG, Commercial, and People so priorities stay aligned as the company scales.

Judgment-based execution

• Take ambiguous, half-formed problems from the CEO and turn them into structured plans.
• Know when to escalation, when to decide, and when to simply get it done.
• Protect our CEO’s time and attention by absorbing work that doesn't need him.

What you bring

Experience and skills (required)

• 2 to 4 years' experience from strategy consulting, a hypergrowth scale-up, VC, investment banking, or another high-performance environment.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, reliable approach to problem-solving.
• Solid project management and stakeholder management experience.
• Clear, accurate written and verbal communication, with the ability to draft documents and prepare presentations to a high standard under tight timelines.
• Comfort acting as a role model within an organisation, with the judgment to decide, elevate, or execute independently.
• Experience working closely with investors, board members and other senior stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Danish.

Founded in 2018 by Rasmus Rode Mosbæk, the company has raised €15M across three rounds, including a Series A led by Nordic Alpha Partners with backing from Peak Wind, and has grown to around 35 people based in Høje Taastrup. We're moving from our early-stage roots into a scaled software and platform business and building the leadership structure to match.
