Job summary

NORDEN A/S seeks a Chartering Manager to lead Capesize chartering activities, optimise vessel employment and build strong customer partnerships in a global market.

You will collaborate with risk management and market research teams to turn market opportunities into results and support the continued growth of the Capesize business, including international travel.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in Dry Cargo Chartering.
• Experience trading and optimising earnings on tonnage and cargoes.
• Experience managing commercial exposure.
• Experience building and maintaining customer and broker relationships.
• Basic understanding of hedging and FFAs.

As our new Chartering Manager, you will optimise vessel employment, build customer partnerships and turn market opportunities into results. Together with experienced colleagues and supported by in-house risk management and market research teams, you will help the continued growth of our Capesize business.

What you will be doing

You will have the opportunity to:

What you will bring

This role calls for at least two years of experience in Dry Cargo Chartering, including experience with:

• Trading and optimising earnings on tonnage and cargoes.
• Managing commercial exposure.
• Building and maintaining customer and broker relationships.
• Basic understanding of hedging and FFAs.
