Job summary

Ria Money Transfer Denmark is seeking friendly retail associates to provide trustworthy, easy and pleasant experiences for customers in Copenhagen. You will be the face of our brand, handling money transfers, currency exchange and customer inquiries.

You should enjoy working in a customer-facing role, be comfortable with cash handling in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively while embracing diversity.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face to face to receive and process Ria’s products such as money transfers, money orders, selling and buying foreign currency.
• Accurately verify or enter the customer’s information on our systems.
• Courteously assist customers with inquiries about services, cancellations or other Ria locations.
• Recognize problems or complaints during queries and propose solutions or escalate to management.
• Keep up to date with Ria’s products, services and policies.
• Balance cash register and prepare cash for bank deposit.
• Prepare daily transactions record.
• Perform other duties as assigned by colleagues and superiors.

What you will do on daily basis:

• Interact with customers face to face to receive and process all of Ria’s products such as money transfers, money orders, selling and buying foreign currency;
• Accurately verify or enter the customer’s information on our systems;
• Courteously assist customers with various inquiries such as questions about our services, service cancellations or other Ria locations;
• Recognize problems, issues or complaints during queries and propose solutions or elevate to the management team;
• Keep up to date with Ria’s products, services and policies;
• Balance your cash register and prepare cash for bank deposit;
• Prepare your daily transactions record;
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested by your colleagues and superiors.

What we will look for you to have:

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends;
• Some computer knowledge with ability to use MS Word and Excel;
• Cash handling experience is highly preferred;
• A valid work permit is a must.
