Stokvis Tapes, a global leader in self-adhesive components, seeks a Business Development Manager to grow Denmark and Northern Germany. You will work with the Segment Manager, R&D and internal teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions. Expect 2–3 days of customer visits weekly and 40–50 travel days per year across Germany.
You bring a commercial or technical background with proven B2B healthcare/tech sales experience, English fluency, and a proactive market approach.
Do you have experience with technical solution sales and opening new customers and markets? Are you motivated by creating growth through strong customer relationships, a targeted focus on new business and the ability to turn customer needs into technical solutions? And do you thrive in longer sales processes where patience, persistence and commercial drive are essential? Then you may be the Business Development Manager we are looking for to join Stokvis Tapes. You will be working closely together with colleagues based at the head office in Allerød, Denmark, with responsibility for both the Danish market and Northern Germany. This opportunity is also ideal for professionals currently living and working in Germany who have a strong understanding of the German market and are interested in relocating to Denmark.
With reference to the Segment Manager, you will play a central role in developing Stokvis Tapes' healthcare business across Denmark and Northern Germany. The Danish market has established customer relationships with room for further development, while Northern Germany represents a significant growth opportunity. Your customers will primarily be OEMs, subcontractors and other technical business partners, with contact across functions such as R&D, Engineering and Purchasing. The role combines market development and technical solution sales. Working closely with the Segment Manager, R&D and other internal functions, you will bring customer needs and project opportunities into the organisation and help develop relevant solutions. Key responsibilities include:
The position offers significant ownership of a growing business area and the opportunity to expand Stokvis Tapes' presence in Northern Germany. Healthcare is an attractive and growing segment with opportunities within diagnostics and wearable/MedTech applications. The role involves approximately 2-3 days per week visiting customers and around 40-50 travel days per year, primarily in Germany.
You have a commercial or technical educational background combined with solid experience within technical B2B sales, preferably from healthcare or another technically complex industry. A proven track record of developing new business is important, as is the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into relevant technical solutions. Experience from areas such as MedTech, electronics, automation, plastics, industrial components or similar technical B2B environments would be relevant. You have a genuine commercial drive and enjoy being proactive in the market, building new relationships and creating business opportunities. You work independently and systematically with a clear focus on results, while understanding that complex sales processes require patience and persistence. Experience from the German market and an understanding of how to develop business in Germany are important. You communicate confidently in English, while German language skills are considered an advantage but are not a requirement.
