Job summary

Momentum Energy Group A/S is seeking an experienced Business Controller to connect financial performance with operational and commercial developments. You will own central reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and collaborate with leaders across the organisation to turn results into clear insights and actions.

You will join the Analytics & Modelling team of 3, gaining broad exposure across Momentum and direct interaction with business unit leaders and senior management.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in business controlling or FP&A
• Experience in performance management or similar finance role
• Strong experience in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Understanding of financial statements and link to operations and cash flow
• Proficiency with Excel and communicating insights to stakeholders
• Independent, proactive with strong collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Danish and English, written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly management reporting including timeline management, inputs, QA and commentary
• Analyze monthly performance vs budget/forecast and explain drivers
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to translate operational developments into financial implications
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting with assumptions, risks and scenario analysis
• Follow up on budgets and forecasts, flag deviations and actions
• Develop and maintain financial and operational KPIs for transparency
• Prepare business cases and profitability analyses for initiatives
