Job summary

SAM International is seeking a BI Data Engineer to join our Fribourg team onsite. The role focuses on developing and maintaining BI reports (SSRS/Tableau), evolving the Data Warehouse, and supporting cross-functional data projects across subsidiaries.

The candidate will ensure data quality, manage ETL processes, and contribute to governance and data integration efforts within a multi-entity environment. Fluency in English and French is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of BI/Data Engineering experience including report development and data warehouse
• Experience with cross-functional data projects and governance initiatives
• Familiarity with ERP environments and data quality concepts

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI reports and dashboards (SSRS/Tableau)
• Ensure reliability, performance, and availability of production reports
• Develop and evolve the Data Warehouse (schemas, tables, views, data marts)
• Create and maintain data feeds (ETL/SSIS) from source systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data projects and governance
