As part of structuring its information system and modernizing its management tools our client wishes to strengthen its BI/Data capabilities.

The BI ecosystem (Data Warehouse, SSRS and Tableau reports, BI Catalogue) currently forms a central management platform for headquarters and multi-country subsidiaries. Its reliability, evolution, and operation currently rely on limited capacity, which needs to be consolidated sustainably.

This role aims to take over and develop BI operations: maintaining operational readiness and developing reports, upgrading the Data Warehouse, and supporting ongoing cross-functional Data projects. Depending on their profile and evolving priorities, the successful candidate may progressively contribute to data integration and governance topics, while the architecture/MDM project will be addressed separately.

Main responsibilities
1. BI REPORT DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE
  • Design, develop, and maintain the Group's BI Catalog reports and dashboards (SSRS, Tableau).
  • Ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of reports in production.
  • Prioritize and process enhancement and corrective requests submitted by business units and subsidiaries.
2. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL BI SUPPORT
  • Provide user support (headquarters and subsidiaries) for BI tools and reports.
  • Manage BI platforms, access, and ticket tracking.
  • Contribute to the professional development of Business Owners and key users.
3. DATA WAREHOUSE EVOLUTION AND MAINTENANCE
  • Develop the DWH (schemas, tables, views, data marts) to meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain data feeds (ETL/SSIS) from source applications.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and usability.
4. SUPPORT FOR ONGOING DATA PROJECTS
  • Contribute to cross-functional data projects (Agro Repository, Industry Report, SEI/Sage Enterprise Intelligence, IBM PA, ArcGIS, etc.).
  • Participate, according to priorities, in initial data integration and governance initiatives.
5. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COORDINATION
  • Work in conjunction with development teams. / Applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Reporting on progress, risks, and necessary trade-offs.
Required skills
  • Proven experience in BI: design, development, and industrialization of reports (SSRS, Tableau, or equivalent).
  • Strong command of SQL and relational databases (SQL Server).
  • Experience in data warehouse modeling and evolution.
  • Knowledge of ETL/data integration (SSIS or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with ERP environments.
  • Understanding of data quality and governance issues.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science/Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in BI/Data Engineering (report development, Data Warehouse, data integration).
  • Experience in a multi-entity/multi-country environment is a plus.
  • Experience in the agri-food sector or with the SAGE X3 ERP system is a plus.
  • Languages: French; Native speaker / English; C1 level
Nice-to-have assets (depending on profile)

This position is open to various profiles. Depending on their skills and interests, candidates may bring additional value to one of the following areas—not required and not cumulative:

  • DBA focus - administration, optimization, and security of SQL Server databases.
  • IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) focus - integration and development for the Finance and Sustainability teams.
  • Data Architecture/MDM focus - contribution to the future Group data repository and integration flows.
