Job summary

Hobo Copenhagen is seeking an experienced full-time bartender to help shape the new cocktail bar. You will join the team to build an identity where cocktails, music and warm hospitality come together, with your main home in the cocktail bar and collaboration with the all-day bar and restaurant teams.

Working closely with the Bar & Restaurant Manager, you will own shifts, refine drinks, manage stock and contribute to beverage standards across outlets, while communicating in English and adapting

Qualifications

• Solid cocktail experience at a leading Copenhagen bar or similar.
• Reliable in busy service and able to welcome guests.
• Willing to work evenings, nights and weekends; good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine our cocktail offering, test recipes, and translate the concept into drinks that work during service.
• Own shifts from prep to handovers, keep the bar organized and ready for the next service.
• Manage batching, dilution, temperature and presentation to support quality and service speed.
• Greet guests, read the room and bring warmth and genuine attention to each interaction.
• Maintain stock, rotation, waste and product quality, assist with ordering and stocktaking.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and raise beverage standards across outlets.

Bartender fulltime - Shape the bar at Hobo Copenhagen

You know your craft. You care about what goes into the glass, how a bar runs and how people feel when they walk through the door. You understand that a warm welcome, eye contact and genuine attention can set the tone for an entire evening. Now you’re ready to help build something new.

We’re looking for experienced bartenders to join Hobo Copenhagen in a full-time position, with a primary focus on our new cocktail bar. You’ll help develop a bar with its own identity, where cocktails, music and warm, confident hospitality come together.

Your main home will be in the cocktail bar, while you’ll also work alongside the teams in our all-day bar and restaurant & bar. We’re building one F&B team, with shared standards and a willingness to support each other.

Working closely with the Bar & Restaurant Manager and the wider F&B team, you will:

• Help develop and refine our cocktail offering, contributing ideas, testing recipes and translating the concept into drinks that work consistently during service.
• Take ownership of your shifts, from preparation and station setup to handovers and closing, keeping the team organised and the bar ready for the next service.
• Work confidently with batching, dilution, temperature and presentation, understanding how preparation supports both quality and time with guests.
• Make every first impression count: acknowledge guests as they arrive, read the room and bring warmth and genuine attention to each interaction.
• Maintain control of stock, rotation, waste and product quality, and contribute to ordering and stocktaking.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and help strengthen beverage standards across our outlets.

What you bring

You have solid cocktail experience from one of Copenhagen’s leading bars, or a similarly ambitious bar elsewhere.

Just as importantly, you take responsibility. You notice what needs doing, follow through and support the people around you. You can deliver during a busy service while still making time to welcome guests, guide them through the menu and help them feel at home.

You enjoy working in a team, communicate confidently in English and are comfortable working evenings, nights and weekends. A particular interest in spirits, fermentation or another part of the beverage world is welcome.
