Job summary

Hobo Copenhagen, part of the Strawberry hospitality family, is hiring a full-time waiter to join our all-day bar & cafe, dinner service and breakfast team. You’ll bring your hospitality, help shape our service style, and ensure guests feel welcomed from hello to goodbye.

You should have solid à la carte waiting experience (2+ years preferred) and be able to work confidently in English. Enjoy a collaborative, playful approach in a growing venue.

Qualifications

• Good teamwork and guest-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Look after your section, welcome guests and keep service flowing.
• Recommend menu items with enthusiasm and knowledge of wines/cocktails.

• Coordinate with kitchen and bar to meet guest needs and dietary requests.
• Prepare station and hand over smoothly between shifts.
• Handle guest feedback warmly with the team.

Full Time Waiter - Bring your hospitality to the table at Hobo Copenhagen

You know how to make a service flow. You notice the details, read your guests and understand that a warm welcome can set the tone for an entire visit. Now you’re ready to help build something new.

We’re looking for experienced waiters to join Hobo Copenhagen in full-time positions within our all-day bar & café, evening à la carte restaurant and breakfast team.

Whether you feel most at home in a lively dinner service or enjoy the variety of different settings, we’d love to hear from you. Your experience, personality and interests will help shape where you fit best within our F&B team.

Good service starts with us

Together with the Bar & Restaurant Manager and your F&B colleagues, you’ll help create welcoming spaces and enjoyable experiences throughout the day. Your role will include:

• Looking after your section with care, making guests feel welcome and keeping service flowing from their first hello to their last goodbye.

• Bringing the menu to life with your own favourites and thoughtful recommendations, sharing your enthusiasm while staying curious about what each guest enjoys.

• Bringing your own style of hospitality to your service, adapting to the atmosphere and the people around you.

• Staying connected with the kitchen and bar, communicating guest preferences and dietary requirements clearly and finding the right pace together.

• Getting ready for service as a team, keeping your station organised and leaving colleagues well prepared for the next shift.

• Listening to guests and handling feedback with warmth, with your colleagues and manager there to support you.

• Sharing ideas and experience as we develop our service style, daily routines and team culture ahead of opening.

What you bring

You have solid à la carte waiting experience, ideally at least two years, and feel confident managing your own section in a busy restaurant.

You care about people as much as the practical side of service. You notice when a guest needs guidance, when a table needs space and when a colleague could use a hand. You take responsibility, follow through and keep your attention on the room when the pace picks up.

You bring a positive, collaborative approach and enjoy supporting the people around you. Let us know which service setting you enjoy most, whether that’s evening à la carte, daytime hospitality or a mix.

You communicate confidently in English. Knowledge of wine, cocktails or speciality coffee is a welcome bonus, along with the curiosity to keep learning and share what you know.

The practical details

• Position:Full-time waiter.

• Start date:February 2027.

• Location:Hobo Copenhagen, Helgolandsgade 3, 1653 Copenhagen V.

• Working hours:Shifts depend on your role and agreed schedule, including weekends. Both primarily evening roles and a mix of morning, daytime and evening shifts are possible.
