Job summary

ABENA in Denmark is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator for the Protective Wear category. You will help ensure compliant product data, robust documentation, and audit-ready outputs across the supply chain.

In collaboration with the Category Manager and Product Manager, you will maintain master data, review technical documentation, evaluate certificates against standards, and follow up with suppliers to close gaps.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing or compliance is an advantage but not required.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and takes ownership of tasks.
• Fluent in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for product creation and maintenance of master data.
• Review extensive technical documentation for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate test reports, lab results, and certificates against applicable standards (MDR, PPE, REACH, EN/ISO).
• Identify gaps and non-conformities; define and implement corrective actions.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding product questions.
• Apply structured, audit-ready documentation following internal procedures and regulatory expectations.
