Job summary

European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg is seeking an Associate Transaction Processing & Digital Transformation Officer to drive timely processing of financial transactions and support back-office automation using AI, RPA and DLT. The role combines operational finance with data, analytics and technology to create a more automated, intelligent operating model.

You will collaborate across Front Office, Risk, Legal, IT and Data teams, contribute to process standardisation, and help implement

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Treasury/Derivatives or back office of a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of financial products and settlement processes.
• Exposure to automation tools, AI or data science use cases (e.g. anomaly detection, data processing).
• Hands-on experience with data analysis or programming tools (Python, SQL) and data visualization (Power BI).
• Excellent knowledge of English and/or French with good command of the other.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end processing of Borrowings, Treasury and Derivatives transactions.
• Ensure timely confirmations, settlements and lifecycle event management.
• Develop dashboards, reports and KPIs to monitor performance and risk.
• Increase straight-through processing and reduce manual intervention through data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Legal, IT, Data and Innovation teams.
