  • Experience with animal models of basal ganglia dysfunction.
  • Strong interest in systems neuroscience.
  • Publications as first author.
  • Teaching experience in neurophysiology and systems neuroscience.
  • Excellent mentoring and supervision skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication.
  • Presentations at international level.
  • Ability to attract external funding.
  • Excellent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on neuronal circuits involved in motor control.
  • Publish results and disseminate findings.
  • Teach and supervise students.
  • Share knowledge with society.
  • Participate in formal pedagogical training for assistant professors.
