Biotech Research and Innovation Center (BRIC) at the University of Copenhagen seeks an Associate Professor in neurodevelopmental disorders to commence as soon as possible.

The University seeks to appoint an associate professor to Biotech Research and Innovation Center (BRIC) to commence as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will have expertise in molecular and cellular mechanisms of brain development and neuropsychiatric disorders, with particular focus on identifying pathological mechanisms in neurodevelopmental disorders. The candidate will conduct as well as supervise research on how neuronal circuitry is affected in brain disorders in animal models. For this, they will implement advanced approaches such as single-cell transcriptomics together with in vivo circuit manipulation and other functional analysis to validate readouts.

The position is a fixed-term position limited to a period of 4 years.
The average weekly working hours are 37 hours per week.
Salary and other terms and conditions of appointment are set in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) or other relevant professional organisations.
