The University of Copenhagen invites applications for an Assistant Professorship in Human-Centred Computing in the Department of Computer Science. Qualifications

  • PhD in HCI or related field.
  • Proven track record in top-ranked HCI conferences/journals (CHI, TOCHI, CSCW, UIST, etc).
  • Teaching qualifications and experience welcomed; teaching ability will be considered.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Active interest in latest HCI developments, AI, and new research methods.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and develop BSc/MSc courses within Computer Science.
  • Co-teach on the Communication and IT bachelor’s and master’s programmes.
  • Strengthen the HCC section and contribute to its high-excellence research environment.
  • Collaborate with SDPS and AI-centred initiatives (SCIENCE AI Centre, Pioneer Centre).
  • Contribute to attracting external funding and provide supervision.
