Job summary

Schmidt Hammer Lassen in Copenhagen is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. You will shape opportunities across markets, collaborating with partners, teams, and clients.

You will lead prequalification, support tender teams, research market trends, and create engaging content for submissions and events. Fluency in Scandinavian is a plus.

The role is based at the Copenhagen studio with salary negotiated based on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, communication, business or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in the architectural sector.
• Experience supporting PQs and pitches for both public and private clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; Scandinavian language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead prequalification processes, coordinating materials and stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality submissions.
• Support formation of project teams for tenders and strategic opportunities in key markets.
• Research clients, market trends, and background information to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
• Create engaging business-development content, including award submissions and trade-show materials.
• Maintain knowledge of trends and developments within the studio’s practices and markets.
• Strengthen the studio's network and relationships with collaborators and potential clients.
• Help expand SHL’s reach and visibility through outreach, events and industry networks.
