Job summary

Siteimprove is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead one of our accessibility product teams. You will own delivery, quality and technical direction, while coaching engineers, collaborating with Product and Design, and guiding AI-assisted workflows.

You will align roadmaps with realistic plans, balance roadmap delivery and technical debt, and work across Platform, AI and other teams. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on credibility, and frequent collaboration with US partners.

Qualifications

• Several years of software engineering leadership, including hiring and performance management.
• Experience delivering for a team over a sustained period, not just a project.
• Hands-on familiarity with production software and reading pull requests.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery for your team and translate roadmaps into plans.
• Lead and grow engineers; recruit, onboard and retain staff.
• Read code, participate in architecture, and challenge designs when needed.
• Coach the team in AI-assisted development and establish reviewing standards for AI-generated work.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to align outcomes and sequencing.
• Ensure quality, security, and production reliability; manage technical debt.
