Job summary

Relesys is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and grow one of its engineering teams, driving growth, performance and delivery. You will enable AI-assisted engineering, shape strategy into clear priorities, and ensure robust architecture, testing, observability and security.

This role offers significant growth within a dynamic scale-up backed by Copilot Capital. You will partner with Product, Design and engineers to identify AI use cases, run experiments, and bring valuable solutions into

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• +5 years of relevant experience as a software engineer or similar and ideally understanding of modern SaaS product development in an agile environment.
• Experience directly managing software engineers, including regular one-on-ones, coaching, career development, performance reviews and constructive handling of performance challenges.
• Track record of helping engineers grow and building teams with clear expectations, strong collaboration and sustainable delivery practices.
• Practical experience applying AI tools to software development and can help a team experiment, assess results and adopt effective practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your people: regular one-on-ones, feedback, coaching through technical, professional and interpersonal challenges.
• Own career development and performance: set expectations, conduct reviews, support progression and address underperformance.
• Build a healthy, effective team: foster trust, inclusion, accountability, engagement and sustainable workloads.
• Hire and onboard engineers: partner with People & Talent on hiring, plan team capabilities and capacity.
