Job summary

Matas A/S is seeking a Process & Operations Lead for the Category Operations team. The role focuses on improving processes within the team and across Category & Merchandising, while leading coordinating teams to drive efficient ways of working.

You will combine people leadership with hands-on process improvement, setting clear priorities and directions, and turning complexity into simpler workflows with AI and automation where applicable.

Qualifications

• Analytical and structured problem solver capable of driving improvements.
• Experience using automation to improve processes, ideally with AI components.
• Experience in leading teams and developing others.
• Comfortable working with data to inform decisions.
• Ability to translate operational needs into practical process changes.
• Shows ownership from problem discovery to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for the performance and development of assigned processes.
• Lead and develop coordinating teams, establishing priorities, structure and direction.
• Identify bottlenecks, errors, and unnecessary manual work and convert into practical improvements.
• Utilise AI, automation and data to standardise workflows, improve quality and reduce manual work across Matas Group.
• Collaborate across functions and with Tech when improvements involve systems or data.
• Drive ideas from concept through implementation and ensure daily operational uptake.
