Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Category Specialist for the Material Handling Equipment (MHE) category. The role focuses on AI-powered assets, sourcing, supplier performance, and lifecycle optimization across a global fleet.

You will collaborate with product teams to translate data into category improvements and business value. You will engage in RFQs, tenders, negotiations, and contracting, partnering with regional teams to drive value and implement AI-guided workflows for procurement excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, procurement, category management, or related field.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and supplier teams.
• Analytical ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Support and drive execution of category strategies for Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Coordinate sourcing activities including RFQs, tenders, negotiations and contracting.
• Collaborate with regional procurement teams to consolidate demand and maximize value.
• Support supplier relationship management and performance improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to commercial discussions and negotiations with key suppliers.
