Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Category Specialist to join the Material Handling Equipment category, helping shape an AI-powered asset platform (AssetIQ) and transform how we plan, source, and manage assets across their full lifecycle.

You will bring live category and supplier experience, collaborate with product teams, support sourcing, supplier performance, and asset lifecycle optimization for the global MHE fleet, turning data into value.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, procurement, category management or supply chain.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate data into business insights and decisions.
• Commercial mindset with supplier management and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Support and drive category strategies for Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Coordinate sourcing activities including RFQs, tenders, negotiations and contracting.
• Collaborate with regional procurement teams to consolidate demand and maximize value.
• Contribute to supplier relationship management and performance initiatives.
• Analyze spend and asset data using the AI-powered platform to identify opportunities.
