Job summary

MyDefence A/S is seeking an AI Engineer to shape AI strategy, architecture and governance across the organisation. You will deliver hands-on proof-of-concepts, steer data foundations and move successful concepts toward production, collaborating with global teams.

The role requires strong experience with AI platforms, RAG systems and responsible AI practices, plus excellent English communication. Based in Denmark, you will join our IT & Security organisation and report to the CISO, acting as a

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing AI solutions, including hands-on PoC.
• Hands-on experience with AI platforms like Azure AI Foundry and AWS Bedrock.
• Experience with agentic frameworks and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Solid understanding of data structures, data quality and business data analytics.
• Ability to communicate AI concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with responsible AI adoption and compliance considerations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• AI strategy, architecture and governance; align with Global AI-team and target architecture.
• Build and demonstrate proof-of-concepts using Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock and similar platforms.
• Translate strategy into working implementations and guide production deployment.
• Ensure data foundations with quality, structures and governance.
• Stay informed on AI developments and best practices to guide technology choices.
