Job summary

Everfield, a European software portfolio company, is hiring a Forward-Deployed Engineer to work inside the product team as the technical counterpart to the Product Lead. You’ll jump into BU codebases, prototype with agentic tools, and ship agent-first features end to end for real customers.

This role requires hands-on building, curiosity, and comfort with moving across BUs, languages, and customer segments while delivering production-ready software quickly.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of engineering, founding, or hybrid product/engineering roles.
• Engineering degree or equivalent education or self-taught path.
• Proven track record shipping real software to users.
• Experience across multiple production languages is a plus.
• Comfort with legacy code and ambiguity in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Build agent-first products end to end inside BU codebases; spec, prototype, ship, iterate, hand off.
• Drop into BU codebases and become productive in days; work on backend, data, workflows, and UI as needed.
• Run agentic coding as the default mode; build AI tooling where it does not exist yet.
• Prototype with BU customers and iterate on what they actually use.
• Collaborate with BU engineers to ensure sustained maintainability after handoff.
• Translate ideas into shipped products within weeks, with clear technical narratives.
