Job summary

SoundBoks ApS in Copenhagen, Denmark, is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to lead the acoustic development of our product line, ensuring durability, sound quality, and performance in challenging environments.

You will design drivers and enclosures, run simulations, validate with measurements, and collaborate with Mechanical and Audio teams to take concepts from concept to mass production.

Start date October 2026 or ASAP; full-time role with opportunities to influence next-generation loudspeakers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and simulating loudspeakers including transducer and enclosure design.
• Experience with acoustic measurements to validate designs.
• Familiarity with crossover design and FEM simulations is a plus.
• Ability to work with external manufacturing partners is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Select and design acoustic components based on product requirements.
• Define initial enclosure concepts.
• Build and evaluate proof-of-concept prototypes.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering during early development.
• Perform acoustic simulations focusing on SPL, sound quality, and efficiency.
• Validate simulation results through physical testing.
• Collaborate with suppliers to refine acoustic components.
