A leading company is seeking a TRAP Technician with responsibilities including the maintenance and handling of TRAP equipment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least two years of relevant experience, with the ability to operate technical equipment safely and efficiently. This role requires compliance with safety standards and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Title: TRAP Technician
Assists in the receipt, inspection, storage, handling, maintenance, reconstitution, accountability, and shipment of Tanks, Racks, Adapters, and Pylons (TRAP) in support of the GPMS Prepositioning Program. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement.
The preferred candidate will have a valid work & residency permit to work in Germany or be a national of the EU/EEA. Completion of formal electronic and mechanical training is preferred. Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Must be an EU resident and/or authorized to work in Germany.
Works in maintenance shop or warehouse, may work outdoors for extended periods, exposed to extreme noise, and required to wear PPE. Physically capable of lifting/pushing/pulling at least 50 lbs. and handling equipment.
