Job summary
A leading logistics company in Bremen is looking for an experienced freight forwarder to manage transportation logistics. Responsibilities include coordinating transport units and acting as the primary contact for clients. The ideal candidate has proficiency in German and strong negotiation skills. - Professional experience as a freight forwarder, dispatcher, or agent.
- Initial experience in long-distance freight handling is welcomed.
- Structured and independent working style.
- Fluent knowledge of German; ideally, knowledge of another language (Polish/English).
Responsibilities
- Arrange transportation units in national long-distance transport.
- Assign transport orders among forwarding agents.
- Accept, enter, process, and reconcile client orders.
- Plan, monitor, and optimize client orders.
- Act as a central contact person for clients.
- Monitor working hours and regulations regarding driving and rest times.
