Base pay range

Personal Technology Assistant

IT-Support engineer with outstanding communication skills.

European citizenship is required as the customer is an European Organization.

Remote work is NOT possible.

The customer is a large-sized European institution based in Munich. Position is on-site in Munich-Germany.

Responsibilities
  • Handle end-user computer and network requirements
  • Perform hardware installation and troubleshooting
  • Install and troubleshoot hardware such as desktops, laptops, scanners, projectors, printers, video conference equipment
  • Install application software like Microsoft Office, antivirus, and communication tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • Resolve network and internet connectivity issues
  • Install and maintain network devices such as Wi-Fi access points and routers
  • Maintain printers and printing services
  • Assist in setup and monitoring of video live streaming and video conferencing
  • Document support requests and actions in the ticketing system
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills; on-site support facing off with executives
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar support role
  • Experience with Windows 7/10, Office 2010, browsers, Skype, Adobe, etc.
  • Good understanding of computer hardware, printers, and VICO systems
  • Ability to diagnose and repair desktop hardware
  • Strong troubleshooting and support skills
  • Experience with incident and change management
  • Ability to install and replace hardware components
  • Experience with Video Conferencing systems (VICO)
  • Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
