Huawei's Munich Research Center

Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design, and strategic engineering of our products.

The Precision Module and Equipment lab focuses on Precision Automation for state-of-the-art products in the telecommunication field. The lab aims to develop fundamental and core technologies needed for automating precision components for assembly, testing, and measurement, to further enhance the team's capabilities in Munich.

We are looking for a:

XRAY/CT Product Development Manager (m/f/d)

Your mission

1. Define the technical specifications for each functional module of X-RAY or CT equipment for industry quality control, based on test precision and efficiency requirements.
2. Lead the design of hardware system architecture for X-RAY or CT NDT equipment and select key components.
3. Oversee the development or technical cooperation of key core components or algorithms.
4. Stay informed about industry trends in XRAY or CT technology and plan future development roadmaps.

Your areas of expertise

1. Master's degree or higher, PhD preferred; majors in Mechatronics, Electronic Information, Signal Processing, Image Processing, Automation, etc.
2. Familiarity with mainstream X-RAY/CT radiation sources and detection sensors.
3. Strong expertise in X-RAY equipment development.
4. Excellent team support skills and ability to communicate remotely with Chinese colleagues.
5. Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

1. Proficiency in mechanical drawing software such as SolidWorks or Pro/E.
2. Knowledge of motion control systems.
3. Experience in image processing and 3D point cloud reconstruction.
