Hapag-Lloyd is seeking a proactive student to assist in financial settlements and operations data management in Hamburg. The role focuses on preparing, reviewing and reconciling VSA and SCA settlements while maintaining schedules and allocation tables for vessel operations.

You will monitor timelines, coordinate corrective actions with NetEx, and support operators with data queries and reporting, while learning shipping industry terminology and processes in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled in a university program with availability of approximately 12 months.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and familiarity with data management tools.
• Good command of English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of shipping industry terminology (VSA, SCA) is advantageous.
• Good communication skills for interaction with operators and NetEx.
