Qualifikationen

• Abschluss in Umweltökonomie oder verwandten Bereichen erforderlich.
• Erfahrung in Forschungsfinanzierung und Projektmanagement von Vorteil.

Aufgaben

The University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU), with about 17,000 students, offers excellent research and career opportunities. We are seeking a Research Assistant to support the Vice President and the Environmental Economics working group at the Landau campus, focusing on environmental economics, assessment, and related research areas.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering English-language courses in environmental economics and related fields.
• Conceptualizing, applying for, and leading research projects.
• Supervising theses at various levels.
• Publishing scientific articles.
• Contributing to the research agenda of the working group.
• Supporting further academic qualification like habilitation.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's AND Master's degree; doctoral degree preferred.
• Solid background in environmental economics and assessment.
• Excellent English skills; German skills are an asset.
• Initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in research funding and project management is a plus.
