- You will investigate cognitive modulators of pain and analgesia in health and chronic pain using functional / anatomical magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI / MRI) and pharmacological interventions.
- Supervision of doctoral students.
- The possibility of habilitation is given.
Ihr Profil
- Candidates with a PhD-degree in Psychology, Neuroscience or related fields with documented research experience and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Expertise in designing experimental behavioral, pharmacological, and neuroimaging studies using brain imaging methods (fMRI / MRI, PET-MR) and related software (SPM, FSL or nipype) is essential.
- A profound knowledge of statistics and proficiency in at least one programming language (Matlab, R, python, etc.) is expected.
- Excellent command of oral and written English is essential; German-language skills are beneficial.
- Great communication skills, high flexibility, and strong commitment are essential.
- A vibrant, interdisciplinary research environment with a strong translational focus.
- Integration in the vivid research environment of the Center for Clinical and Translational Neuro- and Behavioural Sciences (name missing), and the DFG-funded collaborative research center 289 Treatment Expectation (name missing).
