An academic position is available at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich within the DFG-funded SHARP project. This role includes planning research on simulation-based learning and contributing to various scientific outputs, focusing on the intersection of psychology and education.
The DFG-funded Collaborative Research Centre SHARP ‘Simulation-based learning in higher education: Advancing research on process diagnostics and personalised interventions’ contributes to theory-building on personalised learning using simulations in higher education. As a joint research context, SHARP focuses on diagnosing and intervening as two highly relevant professional practices in many academic professions.
Subproject B05 examines how group characteristics (in terms of motivation, prior knowledge, and personality traits) and collaborative processes influence the quality of diagnostic and intervention decisions, and how these decisions can be supported while considering group characteristics. The open position is located at the Professorship for Psychology for Teaching and Learning (Prof. Doris Holzberger). The project is conducted in collaboration with the Chair of Social Psychology at LMU and the Medical Education Center (MEC) at the TUM School of Medicine.
Your responsibilities include planning and implementing empirical studies on simulation-based learning, collecting, documenting, and analyzing primary and secondary data (including research synthesis), and contributing to scientific publications.
