Job Description

I will drive the deployment of state-of-the-art IT solutions and create synergies between two application landscapes within the European Elia Group.

As an IT Solution Architect (f/m/d), you will be involved at the forefront of these developments and dynamics.

My responsibilities as IT Solution Architect (f/m/d):

• Participation in major transformation projects, which require new IT solutions to be integrated into the current application environment,
• Identifying business needs and proposing modern IT technologies and solutions,
• Defining and designing solutions as well as application architecture in line with IT Group strategy and standards,
• Ensuring best practice deployment,
• Collaborating on the IT roadmap definition and synergy initiatives at Group level to simplify and rationalize the IT landscape,
• Coordinating and cooperating with other IT stakeholders and the internal software factory,
• Taking charge of all integration aspects regarding the new application implementation and acting as an expert to relevant committees.

My profile:

• Several years of relevant experience,
• Expertise in integrating new solutions into existing systems,
• Relevant experience in designing complex IT systems with broader experience in application architecture at the functional level,
• Knowledge concerning cloud environments as well as SAP,
• Knowledge of GIS, digital & mobile workforce technology, and modern development practices like DevOps or Cloud platforms is highly appreciated,
• An autonomous, proactive, and agile working style and attitude,
• Skills: English (C1), German (min. B1), French or Dutch would be a plus.

Additional knowledge and experience in software development, integration design patterns, custom application design, and the energy/electricity/utility sector would make your application particularly interesting.
