Carhartt WIP is part of the WIP Trading AG. Our family-owned business group started as a licensee and European distributor of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt in the early 1990s. Since then, it develops its own collections based on workwear originals.

Carhartt Work in Progress aims to continuously progress and evolve, without ever losing sight of its origins. Over the course of the past two decades, our business has developed organically, along with its customers, the culture that surrounds the brand, and its employees who have helped shape what Carhartt WIP is today.

We are looking for our office in Weil am Rhein OR Berlin from now for you as App Developer (m/f/x).

Tasks

• You are responsible for the App Backend Programming
• You are the contact person for the technical implementation and further technical development of our APP
• You develop and maintain the interfaces between our APP systems and their connected systems
• You support our APP PO from a technical point of view
• You are designing and assisting the entire process from technical conception to implementation and support
• You are the direct contact with the technical service providers for these systems

Requirements

• You have relevant experience in developing large React. js-based applications including knowledge of React Native
• Additionally, you have profound experience in using node.js in the backend
• You're proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript
• You have a deep understanding in GraphQL and favourably in solutions like schema stitching
• You are comfortable with using Docker
• Ideally, you’ve already got some experience in using Google Cloud
• You’re comfortable with Git, GitHub including GitHub actions
• You’re able to navigate through complex architectures
• You´re experienced in using Commercetools and Sanity is a big plus
• You are fluent in German and English (every further language is warmly welcomed)
