A leading renewable energy service provider is seeking experienced Wind Turbine Service Technicians for site-based work in Germany. Candidates will maintain and service wind turbine generators, perform commissioning, and ensure safety measures are followed. The role requires experience with MVOW, SGRE, or GE turbines, mechanical education, and a clean driver's license. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is essential.

Jobbeschreibung

We are ramping up our expanding service team with experienced Wind Turbine Service Technicians for site-based activities on Vestas, SGRE, Adwen, Nordex, and GE turbines onshore and offshore.

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in maintenance and servicing of wind turbine generators.
2. Perform commissioning and troubleshooting tasks.
3. Execute major component exchanges.
4. Carry out corrective maintenance.
5. Ensure quality measures and safety instructions are being respected.
6. Supervise the selection and usage of special tools and equipment.
7. Participate in training organized by GWS.
8. Plan your work ahead.
9. Inspect and maintain safety gear, company vehicles, tools, and other GWS properties.

Qualifications:

• Experience in service and maintenance on MVOW, SGRE, GE, Nordex, or Adwen turbines.
• Ideally, Vestas service level D+C qualification.
• Ideally, SGRE Level 4 / Level 5 authorization/nomination.
• Completed mechanical, technical, or electrical education.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Cooperative, communicative, open-minded, and flexible, with respect for others and cultures.
• Ability to work at remote sites in adverse weather conditions.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability and confidence to work at heights (including physical fitness to climb).
• Professional attitude with high regard for quality and safety.
• Clean driver's license and ability to obtain a passport.
• EU citizen.
• Valid GWO training and OGUK Medical Fitness certificate.
