Media Broadcast Satellite GmbH (MBS) is a leading space technology company with around 300 employees across Germany, France and Poland. You will support the project management team on a New Space project, help prepare meetings and maintain task tracking, and contribute to transparent reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal candidates are currently studying a technical degree, have a strong interest in space, and can work in a structured, independent manner.

Qualifikationen

• Currently studying in a technical or technically oriented degree program.
• Interest in space and satellite systems.
• Structured, reliable, and independent with multitask capability.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Clear communication and ability to work in an international environment.
• Initiative, hands-on mindset, and solution-oriented.
• German language at C1 and English at C1 level.

Aufgaben

• Support the project management team in planning, coordinating and tracking an ambitious New Space project.
• Prepare meetings and presentations; track tasks, deadlines and follow-ups.
• Contribute to project status reporting, documentation and information for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and other partners.
• Take ownership of smaller tasks and actively contribute to space project development.

MBS operates satellites, ground stations, and secure communications networks to ensure that armed forces, government agencies, and businesses remain reliably connected anytime and anywhere.

With our own ground infrastructure, including the largest teleport in Germany, we have been developing and operating highly reliable satellite and data network communication solutions for government and industrial customers for over 45 years.

Your Mission

• Project Support: You support the project management team in planning, coordinating and tracking an ambitious New Space project.
• Organization: You prepare meetings and presentations and keep track of tasks, deadlines and follow-ups.
• Project Transparency: You support project status reporting, documentation and the preparation of information for internal and external stakeholders.
• Teamwork: You work closely with project management, engineering and other internal and external partners.
• Hands-on: You take ownership of smaller tasks and actively contribute to the development of our space projects.

What You'll Bring to the Mission

• You are currently studying in a technical or technically oriented degree program.
• You are interested in space, satellite systems and New Space.
• You work in a structured, reliable and independent manner and can keep track of multiple tasks at the same time.
• You are confident using MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy working in an international environment.
• You bring initiative and a hands-on mindset, ask questions when something is unclear and independently look for solutions.
• Ideally, you have a genuine passion for space and New Space.
• Required language skills: German – C1, English – C1
