Job Description

What you'll do

• Support teams with manual software validation and integration tests in an agile, pan-European (D, UK, I) development process.
• Maintain and evolve an automated test system for health checks on various components of the Sky Backend Broadband environment, based on API testing.
• Accurately document and share knowledge within the team.
• Coordinate with teams to inform and update them on test system incidents or failures and their resolutions.
• Develop and operate necessary test tools and maintain the test infrastructure.
• Participate in designing and implementing new processes and control mechanisms for the test environment.

What you'll bring

• Enrolled in a degree program in computer science or a comparable field.
• Ideally, some experience in API testing.
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python, and knowledge of HTML & CSS.
• High affinity for new technologies and quick learning ability.
• Excellent team player with creative problem-solving skills.
• Independent, structured, analytical, and detail-oriented working style.
• Proficient in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is a plus.
