Job Description:

Main Purpose of Job: The German Multimedia Content Reviewer is responsible for ensuring the quality of linguistic content in German for our clients, acting as a cultural ambassador and producing localized, culturally relevant content.

Ideal Candidate: Background in journalism or similar, creative writing skills, attention to detail, passion for music, film, tech, and familiarity with iOS and Mac OS devices.

Main Duties:

• Localize, translate, and adapt multimedia content following style guides
• Create new copy for multimedia products like music, TV, apps, and games
• Review own and team members' content for linguistic accuracy
• Copy-edit and fact-check content
• Perform Localization QA on live content
• Research local content trends and best practices
• Transcribe spoken content such as lyrics
• Report on media assets and data
• Create training materials and ensure team training
• Collaborate with global teams via virtual meetings and emails

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in journalism, copywriting, or media content editing with samples
• Experience in multimedia translation and localization
• Ability to identify issues quickly and make sound decisions
• Knowledge of music, TV, cinema, gaming, and pop culture
• Ownership of language market and confident linguistic decision-making
• Detail-oriented, multitasker, able to meet deadlines
• Native German speaker, fluent in English
• Strong computer skills, familiarity with iOS/macOS preferred
• Capable of typing in native language using English keyboard
• Independent and remote work capability
• Team player, multicultural environment experience
