tozero is a climate tech startup pioneering lithium-ion battery recycling. We seek a Welding Technician to join our engineering team, performing welding, fabrication, and repairs on boilers, water tanks, and fixtures under supervision.

You will read blueprints, handle diverse welding tasks (TIG, MIG, MMA), troubleshoot equipment, and ensure safety and quality across operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of welding equipment and tools.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control skills.

Aufgaben

• Welding & Fabrication: Perform welding on various metals, including TIG, MIG, and MMA processes, following technical documentation and quality standards.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Repair a wide range of equipment, from boilers to water tanks, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Maintenance of Bleachers & Equipment: Inspect, maintain, and repair still and rolling bleachers and related fixtures.
• Collaboration with Engineering: Work closely with the engineering team to ensure process efficiency and smooth integration of welding tasks into plant operations.
• Safety & Quality Assurance: Ensure all welding works meet safety protocols and quality standards, addressing any errors or inconsistencies promptly.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and adjust welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.

As a Welding Technician at tozero, you’ll be a vital part of our engineering team, performing welding, fabrication, and repairs on a wide range of metal equipment and fixtures. Under the supervision of the Process Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for welding boilers, pumps, water tanks, and building fixtures to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely.
