We are looking for local freelance Welding Inspectors (IWE/EWE or similar), with valid NDT certificates (RT, UT, MT, VT, PT, all level II), for ad hoc inspections at local manufacturers in Germany and the Netherlands, in the greater Hengelo area.

Knowledge of Codes: CSWIP, NDT Level 2 according to ISO

Tasks include:

1. Review assignment instructions for adequacy and practicality.
2. Attend pre-production and other meetings as required.
3. Liaise with clients and relevant parties to determine inspection stages and requirements.
4. Inspect drawings, designs, and specifications for piping, valves, pressure vessels, and other mechanical equipment, ensuring all customer requirements and procedures are followed.
5. Visit manufacturers, suppliers, installers, and others as necessary to perform or witness inspections.
6. Provide timely reports of inspections performed or witnessed.
7. Ensure all inspection activities comply with work instructions and procedures.
8. Adapt to and utilize new technologies within the group (e-reporting system, Remote Video Inspection System, Evolution system).

Languages: Dutch or German + fluent in English (oral and written).

The job involves approximately 3 days per week during June and July 2021.
