Job Summary:

Precision Cut Industries is a growing, high-tech metal fabrication contract manufacturer providing metal fabrication and machining services. Our culture is driven by our desire to deliver world-class customer service. We are seeking a focused and intricate member for our team to fabricate quality parts while fulfilling our customers’ needs and meeting their product specifications in a timely manner. Specifically, we are looking for a fabrication welder.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Performing both Mig & Tig Welding applications daily.
2. Reading and understanding blueprints and welding symbols.
3. Welding Light Gauge Steel, Aluminum and working with Fixturing.
4. Ensuring safety and quality guidelines are met.
5. Notify supervision of faulty equipment and/or defective materials.
6. Determine and perform routine maintenance on equipment used.
7. De-bur and grind metal as necessary for proper surface texture.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities for success:

1. Thorough knowledge of both Mig and Tig Welding.
2. Thorough knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints for layouts.
3. Effective time management skills.
4. Strong attention to detail.

Education & Experience Requirements:

1. 1 year or more of both Mig and Tig Welding experience.
2. Ability to utilize measuring and power tools.
3. Knowledge and proven work experience in a manufacturing environment.
4. Ability to perform both Mig & Tig Welding applications proficiently.

Working Conditions:

1. Ability to stand for more than 4 hours at a time.
2. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
3. Ability to work in a hot/cold warehouse environment.
