Aufgaben

• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control
• Coordinate warehouse staff, workloads, and daily operational activities
• Monitor stock accuracy, investigate inventory discrepancies, and maintain efficient inventory processes
• Manage inbound and outbound schedules and respond to operational issues
• Operate and support WMS, ERP, and warehouse scanning systems
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety, quality, and hygiene standards
• Monitor operational performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Support the setup and development of processes for the new Berlin warehouse
• Coordinate with internal departments, logistics providers, and drivers

Warehouse Operations Supervisor / Team Leader

A global Japanese trading company is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor / Team Leader to support the launch and daily operation of its new warehouse.

You will responsibility for warehouse activities, team coordination, and operational improvements. This is a hands-on role for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys working closely with the team while ensuring safe, accurate and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate should have previous warehouse supervision experience and strong operational knowledge.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control

Ideal Candidate

Preferred

• Experience in food, FMCG, wholesale, retail distribution or 3PL environments
• Knowledge of FIFO / FEFO, batch and lot-controlled products
• German language skills at B2 level or above
• Understanding of HACCP or food hygiene requirements
• Experience in chilled or frozen warehouse operations

Conditions

• Location: Berlin, Germany
• Working Style: office-based
• Salary: €45,500-€52,000 gross per annum depending on experience (based on 13 salary payments)
• Job Type: permanent, full-time
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am-6pm
