Role Overview : As a Vulnerability Management Expert , you will lead and steer the development, maintenance, and strategic direction of Attack Surface Management capabilities for METRO AG. You will act as a central point of responsibility, providing technical guidance to proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities within our environment, ultimately reducing the risk of associated incidents.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ownership : Take ownership of the vulnerability management process, focusing on attack surface management.
• Outcome Responsibility : Be responsible for the performance and deliverables of the operational VM services provided for the global METRO organization.
• Leadership : Lead initiatives to improve the security posture of the company.
• Collaboration : Work closely with MSSP Analysts to optimize detection and response capabilities.
• Strategic Guidance : Oversee current tools and technologies, providing strategic guidance to continuously improve Attack Surface Management.
• Team Structure : You will be part of a very international team of cyber defense experts based in Düsseldorf, collaborating with service providers delivering the operational service.
