The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven VP of Worldwide Sales Strategy to join our team and play an instrumental role in driving our strategic direction and commercial execution. The VP of Worldwide Sales Strategy will be responsible for architecting the strategy behind our strategic sales initiatives, industry plays, and for building a team of subject matter experts who will execute against our ambitious goals.
Location for this role is either in the USA or EMEA.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy and worldwide execution of Enterprise Sales, including expanding our penetration in existing accounts and securing new logos in our highest potential accounts.
- Lead our end to end vertical/sub vertical strategy, our worldwide execution, and our key growth initiatives including High Thruput, AutoStore as a Service, and Pio.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline to ensure performance to target, monitor and analyze sales trends and performance metrics. Adjust strategies accordingly.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to our Sales leaders, help to define strategies and plans to capture growth opportunities, and improve the company's business performance.
- Be a thought leader on growth opportunities to our executive leadership team. Defining business cases, strategies, and plans to capture these opportunities and improve our results.
- Cultivate high-trust relationships with our regional teams to ensure they have the content, readiness, programs, and incentives. Build community within the company and share best practices designed to both deliver efficient sales productivity and enable teams to exceed targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams both globally and locally to ensure alignment of sales strategy with overall business objectives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the existing sales motion and recommend improvements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Key Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in sales and strategy leadership within global / regional companies.
- The ideal candidate will be a seasoned, results driven, empathetic leader with proven experience in both sales leadership and in developing/executing global strategies that drove significant growth.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and target new potential growth levers, and to successfully develop and execute corresponding strategies at a global scale
- S/he will be able to collaborate with key stakeholders both internally and externally and work effectively across a matrix organization. Furthermore, this leader will bring a commercial mindset with the ability to communicate across functions, regions, and cultures.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is a plus
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience building and leading high-performing partnership teams.
- Experience managing dynamic global teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and target new potential growth levers, and to develop and execute corresponding plans at a global scale.
- Ability to identify and qualify new business opportunities, create and defend business cases.
- Must be data driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, product, and executive teams.
- Must be proficient with sales technology, gathering/analyzing sales data, and
- Experience with warehouse automation technology is a plus
- Ability to regularly travel
