Overview

A well-designed voice network is critical to move information, connect decision-makers, and enable the Air Force to achieve its missions. Crafting the right VoIP solution with appropriate equipment and software requires technical expertise and careful planning. We are seeking an experienced VoIP engineer to design, secure, and optimize the voice systems essential for the Air Force.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and troubleshoot VoIP services, SATCOM operations, and security devices across multiple sites.
  • Upgrade and modernize enterprise voice infrastructures, analyze system performance, and enhance security and reliability.
  • Configure and manage network equipment including Call Managers, firewalls, switches, and routers.
  • Develop and follow change management processes; maintain configuration and security documentation.
  • Provide cybersecurity support, perform security assessments, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
Qualifications
  • Experience with VoIP implementation, Cisco Call Manager, CUCM, SIP Trunking, and Cisco Voice solutions.
  • Knowledge of network configurations, cybersecurity, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
  • Bachelor's degree + 2+ years of VoIP experience, or 5+ years of VoIP experience without a degree.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Voice).
Additional Skills
  • Experience with tactical systems, change management, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Security Clearance

Secret clearance required; successful applicants will undergo a security investigation.
