Qualifikationen

Your mission & challenges

Together, we are taking the step into a new era of cognitive robots:

1. You support the machine learning team by developing and implementing novel computer vision and perception components and test them for industrial robots.
2. You focus on real-time sensor fusion, camera calibration, and 3D reconstruction.
3. You help enhance the performance of our current vision system.
4. Take responsibility and support the AI team by executing small development projects and take responsibility for integral components of a newly developed robotic system.
5. You work with an interdisciplinary team of experts and get deep insight into all major software interfaces related to the computer vision system.
6. You’ll gather knowledge about all related engineering disciplines like electronics, sensors, and controllers.
7. You help your colleagues to overcome challenges, remove obstacles, and provide an inspiring working environment supporting creativity and openness.

1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
2. Experience with 3D data processing, computer vision, and machine learning.
3. Advanced knowledge of C++, Python, and ROS.
4. Good knowledge of OpenCV and Point Cloud Library (PCL).
5. Understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning and knowledge of Caffe, Pytorch, and TensorFlow would be a plus.
6. Experience in design, implementation, and evaluation of algorithms based on a description.
7. High level of creativity and desire to implement your ideas.
8. You have a perfect command of the English language and, best of all, speak German well.
