The Project and Bid Engineering Manager Junior

• Responsible for the end-to-end technical development of sub-scopes of a train project (up to validation & certification), in accordance with the project strategy, fulfilling both contractual technical requirements and defined engineering & project QCD objectives. This includes leveraging existing Alstom platforms and collaborating closely with the Senior Project Engineering Manager or Bid Technical Manager.
• Designs and implements technical definitions that fully meet project performance (Q), product cost (C), and scheduling (during development phase) commitments for a project-specific sub-scope.
• Manages cross-functional project technical activities and stakeholders at train and subsystem levels. Endorses design authority and related decisions or trade-offs.
• Leads task-forces or work streams for unplanned activities within engineering and across functions.
• Manages engineering bid activities in alignment with the product platform.
• Drives and prepares technical opportunities within ongoing projects, including variation orders from customers.
• Promotes innovation activities within the project and aligns them with specific product needs and work streams of other product platforms.

Key Accountabilities - Project and Bid Engineering Manager Junior:

• Provides visibility on the performance of assigned work packages, work streams, processes, or task-forces.
• Allocates technical and QCD objectives, leveraging existing Alstom platforms and improving current methodologies.
• Coordinates and monitors cross-functional objectives, activities, and deliverables. Manages development planning and configuration management for sub-scopes.
• Supports technical risk management through mitigation plans and moderates task forces on specific technical issues.
• Prepares reports on project technical and QCD status.
